Meet Dr Lauriann Tomaszeski-Sandrik
Dr. Lauriann Tomaszeski-Sandrik is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience providing child and adolescent therapy, adult psychotherapy, family therapy, parent training, and comprehensive psychoeducational assessments. She specializes in evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, trauma-related difficulties, and adjustment challenges across the lifespan.
Dr. Tomaszeski-Sandrik has many years of private practice in Jacksonville, Florida, offering therapy and psychological testing for children, teens, adults, active-duty military personnel, and veterans. Her clinical approach integrates multimodal, research-supported interventions designed to improve coping skills, emotional regulation, family functioning, and academic or occupational performance.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Tomaszeski-Sandrik served as a contractor for the Florida Department of Health, conducting disability and diagnostic evaluations and providing consultation to interdisciplinary teams. Earlier in her career, she held clinical and academic positions at the University of Florida and the University of Miami. Her areas of focus were in pediatric psychology, crisis intervention, behavioral medicine, program development, and clinical research. She provided both therapeutic and assessment services to children and adults while serving as a faculty member in the University of Florida's Pediatric Medicine Department, and she completed a Postdoctoral Program and a Fellowship at the University of Miami.
Her background includes extensive work in community mental health, developmental disability services, and training related to child development, school related concerns, and chronic illness. Dr. Tomaszeski-Sandrik is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care and providing thorough psychological evaluations that guide accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
