Keilana Hoffstetter
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern | Registered Art Therapist
Sometimes, finding the right words to express what we’re feeling can be difficult. Keilana believes that healing and self-discovery can happen in many ways, and that therapy should offer opportunities for clients to explore their experiences in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them. She creates a warm, accepting, and collaborative environment where children, adolescents, and adults can feel understood, express themselves authentically, and develop a greater sense of confidence and emotional well-being.
As a Registered Art Therapist, Keilana offers a creative approach to counseling that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Through art-making, creative expression, and thoughtful exploration, she helps clients process emotions, develop self-awareness, and work through experiences that may be difficult to communicate verbally. Art therapy is not about artistic talent or creating something perfect; it is about using the creative process as another pathway toward understanding, connection, and personal growth. She incorporates these interventions based on each client’s interests, comfort level, and therapeutic goals.
Keilana works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem and identity concerns, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. Her approach is trauma-informed and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), humanistic approaches, and play-based interventions alongside art therapy. She recognizes that every client’s experiences, background, and identity are unique and tailors treatment to support their individual strengths and needs.
Keilana believes therapy should be a place where clients feel empowered to explore who they are, better understand their emotions, and discover new ways of navigating life’s challenges. Whether through conversation, creative expression, or a combination of both, she works collaboratively with clients to strengthen coping skills, build resilience, and create meaningful change at their own pace.
Keilana sees clients in person at ATTIY’s St. Augustine and Mandarin locations.
