Dr. Sarah Bauer is the Chief Executive Officer of And Then There Is You – Mental Health Group, where she leads with a deep commitment to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and organizational growth. Dr. Bauer brings more than a decade of experience in mental health and substance use treatment to her leadership role.

She holds a PhD in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, and a Master’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Bauer is also a Masters Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) for the state of Florida and provides AAMFT-approved supervision for Marriage and Family Therapy professionals.

In addition to her extensive clinical background, Dr. Bauer is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Board-Certified in Bereavement Trauma through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress in collaboration with the National Center for Crisis Management. Her work reflects a profound belief that trauma does not have to define one’s life and that healing and growth are achievable through the therapeutic process.

Dr. Bauer’s approach is rooted in systemic therapy, recognizing the powerful influence of cultural, societal, and familial systems on individual wellbeing. As CEO, she is dedicated to building an organization that prioritizes evidence-based care, clinician development, and the creation of a safe, empowering space for both clients and staff.
